Headway International Ministries, also known as HIM, was established as a result of profound insights gleaned from over thirty years of active involvement in ministry in Ethiopia and other nations. Through serving in diverse roles within the body of Christ, HIM identified significant gaps that hindered the Church's God-given mandate from being fully realized. With unwavering dedication, HIM endeavors to bridge these gaps and propel the Church toward its ultimate purpose. Its primary areas of focus include continual research into effective mission strategies, providing education that is culturally relevant, and engaging strategically in the field, particularly among groups with limited access to the Gospel. In pursuit of these objectives, HIM diligently carries out its duties and fulfills its responsibilities, guided by a clear set of purpose-driven plans.

Objectives
1. Organizing and conducting, ongoing grassroots level mission research for Ethiopia and Africa
2. Upskilling Mission Mobilizing in Ethiopia, Africa and beyond.
3. Launching and operating African level missionary training center.
4. Raising and sending workers across strategic borders.
5. Initiating and networking urban church planting movement and urban missions.
6. Coaching and resourcing disciple making movement among closed people groups.
