Major Accomplishment

Program Lead

  • Somali Mission Seminar: Developed strategies for Somali clan-based evangelism and organized leadership seminars.

  • Uganda Mission Exposure: Attended training on business-for-mission, focusing on sustainable ministry practices.

  • Business-for-Mission Proposal: Created a comprehensive agriculture-based proposal to support missionaries.

Urban Mission Program

  • Repositioning Manhood (RPM): Developed workshops and training materials, inspired by Wild at Heart, to address masculinity and leadership.

  • Evangelism Training: Organized training for 130 church leaders on evangelism, discipleship, and RPM.

    Key Sessions:-

    • Dr. Wesley's session on the gospel and the upcoming evangelism conference, "Adama for Christ."

    • Evangelist Tariku's workshop, "How to Lead," focusing on personal growth within families.

  • Partnership with TearFund: Participated in TearFund's National CCT Movement Building Gathering and joined the advisory board to support the Church's holistic transformation.

  • UUPG Research: Compiled a detailed document on 11 unreached countries and 38 communities in North Africa, East Africa, and the Middle East, providing valuable insights for ministry focus.

  • Urban Ministry Development: Collaborated on a program to saturate urban networks and developed a list of leaders for mobilization efforts.

Cross-Cultural Sending Program

  • Sudan Ministry: Built relationships with the Nubian people, teaching biblical principles and empowering them to share their faith through Discovery Bible Studies.

  • Mobilizing Local Workers: Focused on community-based ministry and sustainable leadership to support missionaries using cross-cultural dynamics and community development knowledge.

Member Care and Economic Empowerment Program

  • Support Raising Solutions: Partnered with Kibir Consult to provide BAM training and raise support for missionaries.

  • National Member Care Network: Co-developed a policy manual and supported farmers with sustainable practices.

Mobilization Department

  • Perspectives Course: Launched the Perspectives course to engage Ethiopian churches in global missions.

  • Kairos Training: Facilitated a four-day training for 20 participants, with many sharing testimonies of how it inspired them to live out their faith in action.

1. Expanding Missionary Outreach

HIM is committed to expanding its global impact by reaching more communities with the Gospel. Our future outreach plans include:

  • Strengthening our efforts in Sudan by deploying additional cross-cultural missionaries.

  • Launching new evangelism projects in unreached areas of East Africa, focusing on Somalia and South Sudan.

  • Partnering with local churches and organizations to provide discipleship training and leadership development.

2. Enhancing Economic Empowerment Programs and Strengthening Member Care

HIM aims to scale up its Business as Mission (BAM) initiatives. Future plans include:

  • Increase awareness of BAM training among churches,

  • promoted generosity, and ensured sustainable,

  • vision-driven, and Christ-centered funding for missionaries.

3. Expanding Urban Mission Initiatives

We plan to address the spiritual and social needs of urban areas by:

  • Scaling the "Repositioning Manhood (RPM)" program to additional cities by hosting workshops to equip churches on the topic of masculinity.

4. Building Strategic Partnerships

Collaboration is key to advancing our mission. HIM plans to deepen relationships with churches, organizations, and businesses that share our vision.

5. Research and Development

HIM will continue to incorporate research teams into our programs, gathering valuable insights to refine and improve our strategies.

6. Mobilization of More Workers

  • 50-day MCM Project: Mobilizing Ethiopians for missions, laying the foundation for future initiatives.

We are dedicated to mobilizing more workers for the harvest by raising awareness, hosting events, and providing resources that inspire and equip individuals to step into missions.

HIM aims to scale the reach of its Perspectives course, ensuring more individuals are equipped with the knowledge and passion to join the Great Commission.
